searching for humanity by forever-simplicity searching for humanity by forever-simplicity
Yea, so I was having a lot of fun with liquify... hence the skewed shape of a lot of the elements in this image. I'm most proud of the frame. :D

As for the concept behind this image, I was planning on putting someone who had lost their humanity -- their sanity -- and were on the search for it again. A loss of colour in the skin can mean sickness and the pinkish colour left in the left hand is she's slowly regaining the humanity that she's looking for. Sometimes when we're feeling sick and down, all we need is a bright light and an anchor to look to to make us feel some kind of normal again.

Ah, yes, the stocky credit thing. Here is where it gets fun. :giggle:

wow, really surreal with the floor and the way she looks with things floating around her. the hearts are a big abstract and something you don't usually see in a piece like this. really cool job here! :]

I would giggle if there were a selection of marbles coming into frame from the front (where she is looking at. Like she is looking at someone who has lost their marbles, you never know might look really affective heheh :aww:

:lmao: Now that would be really funny... we don't have any marbles around home that I can use, but I can always try knucklebones.

That's really cool. The skewed effect was a great idea, it gives it a really creepy vibe. :)
