Artist's Comments

This image had me going batty for two days. First the horizon wouldn't work and then I couldn't get it to look "together"... nevertheless, thanks to some critique from *Windcharmer and my taking her turtle into custody (:paranoid:), it's here.

I couldn't help it. It's like the sea version of Milo and Otis. :giggle:

Thank you, love. I really appreciated your critique and allowing me to use your turtle. I'm glad you like it. :cuddle:

Looks great, probably the best you have done so far, probably the only things I could say would be to play with the horizon a bit more so that there is a longer gradient in the clouds to make it more natural, maybe a gradient overlay with some soft light touchups, and the star fishies look a bit light as if they are on top of the water. But honeslty, it looks brilliant, the colours are amazing and rich, and its a pleasure to look at

Thank you Rhys. I'm really glad you like it, I enjoyed making this one (when it wasn't driving me batty :giggle).

I'll work on the gradient... a sharp black to transparent will probably do to give it some depth... and I'll darken my starfishies while I'm at it to stop them being so distracting. I might do some light rays onto the water too.

But yea, again, thank you. :cuddle:

Thank you! I'm glad you do! :glomp:
:iconforever-simplicity:
I'll give that a go. There's actually a very thin black line on soft light to emphasise the horizon, so I'll give that a tweak and see what happens.

Thank you!
